This trek is the most popular and fascinating trek in Nepal. The HMG of Nepal gave permission to the trekkers in 1991 under strict control on obtaining a special permit for this region. The strictness is enforced to protect the tradition and as well as the environment of this region. So limited numbers of Tourist are allowed to visit this area. Therefore Mustang area is able to protect its own typical Tibetan culture. The main attraction of this trek is Lo Manthang. It’s the capital of Mustang and the people of Lo Manthang are known as “Lobas”. Local king “Mustangi Raja” is also in existence as a honorary Regional King.

Day to Day Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at the airport, welcome by our representative and transfer to the Hotel. At the hotel briefing about the program by our representative.
Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing
Visit Swoyambhunath, one of the world’s glorious Buddhist chaitya. Kathmandu city including Kumari temple and Durbar Square. Then Patan city, the city of craftsmen; major attractions: Durbar Square, Krishna Temple, Golden Temple and Tibetan Handicraft Center.
Day 03: Kathmandu drive to Pokhara and overnight
Day 04: Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom (2700m) and trek to Kagbeni (2810m) 4hrs and overnight
Day 05: Kagbeni-Chusang (2920m) 5hrs
Day 06: Chusang-Samar (3050m) 5hrs
Day 07: Samar-Ghami (3550m) 5hrs
Day 08: Ghami-Lo Gekar (3600m) 5hrs
Day 09: Lo Gekar-Lo Manthang (3760m) 5hrs
Day10: Lo Manthang
Day 11: Lo Manthang-Tsarang(3520) 5hrs
Day 12: Tsarang-Samar (3050m) 5hrs
Day 13: Samar-Chusang (2920m) 5hrs
Day 14: Chusang-Kagbeni (2810m) 5hrs
Day 15: Kagbeni-Jomsom (2700m) 3hrs
Day 16: Flight back Jomsom/Pokhara
Day 17: Fly to Kathmandu
The flight lasts for 30 minutes to Kathmandu. During the flight on can enjoy the majestic view of the snow capped mountains of Himalayan Ranges of Nepal.
Day 18 : Kathmandu sightseeing
Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Bhaktapur
Day19: Transfer to the airport for international departure.
