Pilgrim Tour 1

This tour offers the popular Buddhist pilgrim sites such as Kathmandu Valley, Dhulikhel (Namobuddha) and Lumbini, the birth place of lord Buddha. Besides, this tour covers cultural sites of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur cities. It also provides opportunities to see the views of the landscaping and rural settings outside the city during the journey at Lumbini.

Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at the airport, welcome by our representative and transfer to the Hotel. At the hotel briefing about the program by our representative. Rest day at leisure.

Day 02: Sightseeing
Kathmandu city, Swoyambhunath, Patan city.

Day 03: Sightseeing tour of Baudhanath, Bhaktapur and drive to Dhulikhel & overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Tour of Namobuddha
Drive to Kathmandu, rest day free and stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Drive to Lumbini
Upon arriving in Lumbini check into the hotel

Day 06: Pilgrimage activities in Lumbini
Visit the birth place of Lord Buddha, the apostle of peace, compassion and non-violence. Here one can see the broken Ashok pillar, remnants of an old monastery, images of Buddha’s mother Maya Devi etc. are still preserved in Lumbini. Visit sacred Garden where Buddha was born, Mayadevi Temple, Puskarni Pond where Buddha’s mother had taken a bath before giving birth to Buddha. Visit different monasteries that represent different countries like Myanmar Temple, China Temple, Korean Temple, and Nepal Buddha Temple etc.

Day 07: Drive to Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu at the hotel, rest day free for shopping

Day 08: Transfer to the airport for international departure
