This tour is made to have the mix of culture, nature and
safari adventure as well as the Buddhist Heritage site
Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord BUDDHA. This tour includes
the major attractions of the Kathmandu valley, Nagarkot-a
sunrise&Himalayan panoramic view point on the edge
of Kathmandu and takes you to the city of natural beauties
& the center of adventure ,Pokhara and to the Nepal’s
southern Terai belt for jungle safari. Pokhara is a place
of remarkable natural beauty. The serenity of Phewa Lake
and the magnificence of the fishtailed summit of Mt. Machhapuchre
rising behind it create an ambience of peace and magic.
Clearly the most stunning of Pokhara’s sight is
the spectacular panorama of the Annapurna range which
forms its backdrop. Royal Chitwan National Park, the best
park in Nepal for seeing animals in wild.
Lumbini is known as the birthplace of Lord Buddha ‘The
Light of Asia’. A stone pillar erected by Indian
Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC to commemorate his pilgrimage
to the sacred spot marks the nativity site.
Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at the airport, welcome by our representative
and transfer to the Hotel. At the hotel briefing about
the program by our representative. Rest day at leisure.
Day 02: Sightseeing
Kathmandu city, Swoyambhunath, Patan city.
Day 03: Sightseeing
Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Bhaktapur, Nagarkot and stay
at hotel
Day 04: Nagarkot to Kathmandu
Drive to ChanguNarayan a historical temple. Back to Kathmandu.
Rest day free.
Day 05: Drive to Chitwan
Upon arrival at the lodge, welcome and briefing by the
naturalist. Stay at the lodge
Day 06: Chitwan National Park
Whole day Jungle activities including Jungle walk, elephant
ride, canoe
Ride, village visit etc. Chitwan National Park is the
most famous national park in Nepal, which offers 450 species
of birds including four species of deer, leopard, sloth
bear, wild boar & many other wild life. This park
is well known for one horned rhinoceros & it is a
center for few Royal Bangle tigers. Besides this Chitwan
also supports a great variety of flora and fauna.
Day 07: Drive to Lumbini
Upon arriving in Lumbini check into the hotel
Visit the birth place of Lord Buddha, the apostle of peace,
compassion and non-violence. Here one can see the broken
Ashok pillar, remnants of an old monastery, images of
Buddha’s mother Maya Devi etc. are still preserved
in Lumbini. Visit sacred Garden where Buddha was born,
Mayadevi Temple, Puskarni Pond where Buddha’s mother
had taken a bath before giving birth to Buddha. Visit
different monasteries that represent different countries
like Myanmar Temple, China Temple, Korean Temple, and
Nepal Buddha Temple etc.
Day 08: Drive to Pokhara
Arrive Pokhara and check in the hotel, rest day free.
Day 09: Sightseeing tour in Pokhara
Pokhara, the city with full of natural beauties and is
known as the gate way to the Annapurna Trek. Visit the
major attractions of Pokhara city: Bindabasini Temple,
Deti Gorge, Tibetan Refugee Camp, David’s fall etc.
Enjoy a pleasant boat ride in Phewa Lake feflecting the
panoramic views of Mt. Fishtail on it’s backdrop.
Stay at hotel in Pokhara.
Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu and check in the hotel, rest day free
for shopping.
Day 11: Transfer to the airport for international
departure
