Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at the airport, welcome by our representative
and transfer to the Hotel. At the hotel briefing about
the program by our representative.
Day 02: Sightseeing
Kathmandu city, Swoyambhunath, Patan city.
Day 03: Kathmandu-Darjeeling
Flight to Biratnagar. Drive to Darjeeling about 4hrs through
winding roads through green tea estates. Overnight in
hotel.
Day04: Sightseeing of Darjeeling
Morning sunrise view from tiger Hill. In the afternoon
sightseeing of Himalayan mountaineering institute museum
and the zoological park,Ghoom Monastery and Tibetan self
help center etc.
Day05:Darjelling to Kalimpong
Drive 50 km through Peshok and Tista.Kalimpong is basically
for quiet holiday but you can visit arts crafts center.Tharpa
Choling Monastry,Thongsa Monastery etc. Overnight at hotel.
Day06: Kalimpong to Gangtok
Drive through the tea gardens and the changing vegetation
to Gangtok. En route visit the Rumtek monastery- the principal
seat of Karma Pa outside Tibet and overnight.
Day07: Gangtok Sightseeing
Today we will be visiting besides others, the Research
Institute of Tibetology; famous for its research activities
on Tibetan language and culture, the Phurba-Chorten (Stupa),
Enchey Gompa, viewpoints of Kanchenjunga range, flower
exhibitions and orchid sanctuary.
Day08: Gangtok to Nepal (Biratnagar)
Day09: Fly to Kathmandu. Sightseeing of Kathmandu
Day10: Transfer to the airport for international departure.
