Cultural tour of Bhutan

Bhutan a purely Buddhist Himalayan kingdom is unsurpassed
in its scenic majesty and vibrant culture. The kingdom
shares with Nepal the world’s concentration of mountains
and living heritage of Buddhism. Bhutan is one of the
few countries in the world still untouched, a paradise
for tourist interested in Buddhism culture and philosophy,
flora and fauna, trekking and mountaineering.
Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at the airport, welcome by our representative
and transfer to the Hotel. At the hotel briefing about
the program by our representative.
Day 02: Sightseeing
Kathmandu city, Swoyambhunath, Patan city.
Day 03: Flight Kathmandu-Paro. Upon arrival transfer to
the hotel. Rest of the day free.
Day 04: Sightseeing in Paro
In the morning, drive to Drugyel and on the way back visit
a typical Bhutanese farmhouse and a sightseeing trip to
Paro Bazaar.
Day 05: Sightseeing Paro and drive to Thimpu
A short drive to Satsam Chorten followed by a two hrs
trek to Taktsang Tea House, from this point one has the
best close-up view of the Monastery. Lunch at the tea
house and return walk to Satsam Chorten for drive to Thimpu.
Day 06: Sightseeing in Thimpu
Sightseeing of Memorial Chorten, National Library, Handicrafts
Emporium and Tashichho Dzong.
Day 07: Drive to Punakha
A 3 hrs drive to Punakha across the Dochula Pass. On the
way light refreshment will be served at the Dochula café.
Lunch at Khuru Camp.
Day 08: Sightseeing in Punakha
In the morning, visit a typical farm house where traditional
buttered tea “Zaw” (puffed rice) will be served.
Visit Wangdi Phodrang Dzong and return to Khuru Camp.
Day 09: Drive to Paro via Dochula.
Day 10: Departure from Paro. Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer
to the Hotel.
Day 11: Kathmandu. Sightseeing.
Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Bhaktapur.
Day 12: Transfer to the airport for international Departure.
